In early 2010, at 15 years of age, Jordan was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Over the next 18 months Jordan inspired hundreds of lives by how she chose to face the health related challenges presented by cancer. Jordan's faith, hope and love were evident to all around here until the time of her passing in December of 2011. The origin of the Jordan Zacharias Memorial Golf Classic was a desire to carry forward Jordan’s legacy of hope, love, faith and courage in the face of adversity. Her life demonstrated the impact that a community of people can have when they unite for a purpose bigger than themselves.
